Service Policy

How Lurnik delivers safe, reliable, and transparent tutoring services.

1. Scope of Service

Lurnik is a digital marketplace that connects students with independent tutors for online learning. We provide the technology platform, scheduling tools, and secure payment processing, while the actual tutoring services are delivered by individual tutors.

2. Account and Eligibility

  • Users must create an account to book or offer sessions.
  • Students under 18 should use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Tutors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their profiles, qualifications, and availability.

3. Booking and Payments

  • All bookings must be made through the Lurnik platform.
  • Session prices are displayed in PKR, and payments are processed securely through PayFast, a licensed payment gateway regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
  • Lurnik may apply a platform fee on each transaction, as outlined on our Pricing page.

4. Rescheduling and Cancellations

Rescheduling and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Students and tutors are encouraged to manage their bookings responsibly and to communicate promptly about any changes.

5. Code of Conduct

  • All interactions on Lurnik must remain respectful and professional.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or sharing of inappropriate content is strictly prohibited and may lead to account suspension.
  • Users must not share passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data in chat or session notes.

6. Platform Availability

While we aim to provide continuous access to Lurnik, there may be occasional maintenance windows or technical interruptions. In such cases, affected bookings will be rescheduled or handled in line with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
