Refund and Cancellation Policy
Clear guidelines for rescheduling and refunds on Lurnik.
1. Nature of Service
Lurnik provides access to online tutoring sessions and educational services. All services are delivered digitally via our platform, and no physical goods are shipped.
2. Student Cancellations
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund or a free reschedule.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund. The session fee will be charged in full.
- No-shows, where the student does not attend the session without prior cancellation, are treated as completed sessions and are non-refundable.
3. Tutor Cancellations
- If a tutor cancels a confirmed session, students are entitled to a full refund of the session fee.
- Alternatively, students may choose to reschedule the session at no additional cost with the same tutor or another available tutor.
4. Quality Concerns
If you believe the quality of the session was significantly below expectations, you may contact our support team within 24 hours of the session's end time. Each case will be reviewed individually, and partial or full refunds may be issued at the discretion of Lurnik.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
- All eligible refunds are processed through the original payment method used at checkout.
- Refunds are initiated by Lurnik through PayFast, Pakistan's licensed payment gateway regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
- Refund processing times may vary and typically take 7–14 working days, depending on the customer's bank or payment provider.
6. Non-Refundable Cases
- Sessions marked as completed with no quality complaint.
- Access to digital materials or recordings that have already been delivered.
- Situations where the student fails to meet technical requirements (device, internet, or software) to join the session.
